For the past six months, I have been taking Pro7ein Synthesis protein powder by Vitasport and CellShock Research N’Sane in the morning prior to my workout. The combination of these two supplements has really brought my workout to the next level.

Hi my name is Pam, and I am a mother of one beautiful daughter. During my pregnancy I gained 30 pounds. After giving birth and taking care of my newborn it was hard to make time to go to the gym and even harder to have the ENERGY for a good workout. I tried my best, but couldn’t seem to lose all my pregnancy weight.

Hi, my name is Jeff Carlucci, or Lucci, pronounced "Luchi." I am a professional beach volleyball player who has several hobbies on the side. Rock climbing, skydiving, scuba diving, and skiing are just a few things I do when I'm not training for the tour.

Nutrishop Redondo Beach is my second home because the shop owner Ronnie Villanueva has made it possible for a 34 year old extremely active athlete to perform at the highest level. Dear Jodi and Ron;

I wanted to write you and give you a progress update on my weight loss program. 

When I contacted you in August, 2009 my weight was 370 lbs.  I was pre-diabetic, had excessive joint pain, shortness of breath and sleep apnea.  Every doctor I contacted about my weight told me the same thing, “eat less and exercise more.”  That’s not so easy when you can barely walk.

I finally made the decision to have the Lap-band procedure and was told by the surgical group that I needed to start a “meal replacement” regimen immediately consisting of two protein shakes in lieu of meals and one “sensible” meal a day.  That sensible meal was to be lean meats and vegetables. 

When I asked you for a low sugar/high protein supplement you suggested that I take the
Nutek Pro5 protein supplement.  I was amazed at the progress in protein supplements.  Pro 5 mixes well and tastes amazing.  It never felt like I was on a “diet.”

I started the meal replacement regimen on August 30, 2009 and lost 37 lbs prior to my surgery on October 9, 2009.  That was nearly a pound a day!  Everyone was giving me compliments on my progress which fueled my desire to keep going.

Since surgery, I continued the protein supplements as meal replacements because it was so easy.   To date (April 2010) I have lost 94 lbs.  I have lost 5 full pant sizes and 3 shirt sizes, even my feet are thinner!  I feel amazing.  I can walk without pain for the first time in years.  I don’t use the Cpap machine for my sleep apnea any longer.

My name is Mike Placek I am 26 years old and am competing full time on the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour.  I was fortunate this year to meet Ronnie Villanueva Jr. at Nutrishop in Redondo Beach, CA through one of my partners Jeff Carlucci.  Ronnie’s knowledge in terms of nutrition and supplements by far exceeds any one I have worked with in the past. 

This past season I had the best year of my career with volleyball results and with my overall health.  I was able to maintain all of my muscle mass and weight throughout the year and stayed injury free for the entire season.  There were tournaments this year where I competed in very hot weather and some where I played up to five matches in a day.  I am pretty sure Ronnie got sick of seeing all my texts thanking him after every tournament for all that he has done to help me feeling as strong in my first match of the season as the last.  I went into every match this year feeling fresh and energized as a result of the knowledge I gained by working with Ronnie at Nutrishop and understanding what my body needs on a daily basis to compete at the highest level on the AVP Tour. 

I am looking forward to a successful off-season training program designed by Nutrishop to help me take my game to the next level for the 2010 season.

I work in a pretty busy office and share a cubical with another person. Everyone sits pretty close together, with low cubical walls seperating us.
